I was thinking about changing around my maps to what some other people have. My question is if someone has the same mods as me but also has there motor streetported ( I dont ) Will I be risking damage, or will it be better than the stock maps I'm running right now. Oh and my mods are in my sig.

 

If the only real difference was that they had street porting and you did not, it would make your engine even more safe to use their maps. Especially if theirs were maximized and if yours were also maximized. Why you ask? They would need to run more fuel and less timing advance to produce safe maximum power.

The end results for you would be less power and wasted gas. Yes you would be at risk: your pride and wallet!

 

So if I use that map then I will lose a little power, but it will be safer on my engine?
