99 PFC vs 93+ PFC?

I it possible to run a 99 in my car since it whole ecu and not a piggy back right? I just have to get 93 maps or will the 99 throw off everything since it's a 16 bit ecu?

no.

The 96-2002 ECUs are 16bit vs 92-95 which are 8bit. Even though it's a standalone, you won't be able to get it attached to the car.
