Power FC 96-98 PFC on 93-95's with adapter
96-98 PFC on 93-95's with adapter
I read that a 96-98 PFC will work on an automatic without any problems here. I also saw that Knightsports makes an adapter for 93-95's to convert the harness to match 16 bit connectors.
So if I used the adapter and a 96-98 PFC, would it work on my '93 auto? Has anyone tried this?
If this works it would be a good option for auto owners to retain the hold function without having to run the PFC piggybacked.

That's exactly what I'm talking about. So if you upgrade the wiring of a 93 to the wiring of the 96-98 models, the PFC would work.
But, would the PFC work with only the adapter? What changed on the ECU from 96-98 besides the upgrade from 8 to 16 bit? What functions on the 96-98 models would you not be able to use on a 93-95 model?
