550/1580 & 850/1681 inj tuning: PITA?

90 FC vert, big single, Walboro 255 > 550 pri 15(80) sec.

The car's going to be getting tuned, soon and was curious if there was some issue with droppin' these puppies in and send her off?

As well, the FD has 850 and 1681 sec.... Any potential PnP issues with either of these 2 pair of big injs?

I ask b/c I've heard mixed reviews of whether or not that can not only be used, but if there's an issue with having to mod anything to GET them to be used...

So I ask for verification

I would characterize 850 primaries as "unnecessary hassle." It just adds a lot of bs to getting the idle and low load driving right on the PFC, due to some inherent limitations within that computer. Most single turbo FD's will be fine with stock primaries and a 1600ish secondary injector. There are plenty of 400whp dyno sheets floating around with stock primary injectors, just make sure you have properly rewired the pump. Set the base fuel pressure to 3 bar (43.5psi) and you'll be good; there will be enough fuel for your typical GT35 class turbo in the 15psi range of boost. The factory fuel pressure is 2.5 bar (36psi).

Lol. I *KNEW* there was something I missed... F.Pump rewire.... *ponder-ponder-ponder* Now where's that write-up?

Question regarding the 1580s on the FC: Safe running ~5Ω injectors? You think a resistor will/ would be necessary? If so, what's the recommendation?
