can anyone tell me how to change over from the stock map sensor to a gm 3 bar map sensor on the commander. i read the manual but i am not fully understanding what is it asking for.

 

you need a datalogit too, in order to change the settings. It can't be done with just the commander unless it's the Apexi 3 bar (IIRC).

All you'd need to do is borrow someone's datalogit to enter the data. Once it's entered you can switch between 2 and 3 bar by using the options under "PIM" on the commander.

 

Yes, you need a DL to do it totally. Even if you install and set it up using other owners values in the SETTING 3 PIM SCALE OFFSET table; you still should calibrate it to insure that your values in the SETTING 3 MAP REF table correspond to accurate pressure values.
