I would be in for one of the FC pans for 299. If everyone else is serious just tell me who to paypal and how much for shipping to t6m1g6 canada.

I also have a few other parts that I need from PR, so would like combine shipping with the pan (nothing that is too big to fit inside the pan or heavy enough to damage the baffles, lol).

Does the FD pan have a place to mount the oil level sensor?

It can be modified to accept one, but the oil level sensor is not critical unless you fail to check your oil level frequently.

I just sold the second-to-last completely ready FC Pan the other day. We have a number of good castings but need to weld-in the baffling and send them to powdercoating before they are ready to ship. Figure one to two weeks. If you guys are serious about a group buy, I am fine with that. The price on the FC Pans will be $299 plus shipping (figure $15-20 domestically, via UPS), but I need 5 firm orders ready to go. So, if you want to participate, go to our web site and place an order, and add a note in the "Order Notes" field that you are participating in the group buy. I will hold the orders until we are ready to ship, at which point I will process the payments and get them out the door. If I don't get 5 orders, the GB is off. More than 5 is fine, but this is not open-ended. Those in on the GB will be determined by how many firm orders we have by the time the orders are ready to ship. After that one batch ships, the group buy is over. For a group buy, I prefer Paypal, but can take a credit card if that's the only option for you.

The Group Buy is just for the FC Pans, not the FD Pans. FD pans are still scarce, though I do happen to have three on hand that are not yet spoken for. Line forms to the left. First come, first served. Regular price is $425 and there will be no discounts or group buys until pressing demand it satisfied.

Blake,

I am a dummy for this things, so please bare with me...

We need to order the FC pan at regular price & choose priority mail, correct? And then we need to add that we are participating on GB, under the "Special intructions", correct?

Hmmm, I need to look into this a little more before I commit. Please remove my name from the list for the time being.

Okay, I got your order. Only one so far. Obviously you are due a refund because you paid the regular amount, so I will do that at the time I process the order (presuming the other orders are forthcoming).

Note to others: If you order online and opt to pay with Paypal, it will make you pay the full amount. Since I don't have a way around that, just select the option of paying by check or money order, then navigate to Paypal and pay us manually the correct total. Our Paypal account is <sales@pineappleracing.com>. Or, you can just use a credit card, which I will correct before processing the payment.

I'm ready to go, just need to make sure we are getting the GB price. I'm building my motor within the next week, and can't be waiting around on others before he'll give us the discounted price.

We got 5 people, then he says we gotta go through the site, and have to wait till everyone commits with a purchase...so, I guess I'm just waiting again.

Again, I'm ready...just waiting. Hopefully, I can get the price and my pan within the next week...if not, then might not be worth the time in getting one.

If five people step up, you will get the GB price. If they don't there is no group buy and I will refund the payments or you can pay the difference and still get a pan.

No, you don't have five people. Five promises is not the same thing as five purchases. Five people said they would do it and I only have one order in my hands as of right now. That is the reality of a group buy. I am not going to give you all a discount if I have to work just as hard to sell these things as if I weren't giving a disount. DELIVER me five sales and you get a discount; make it hard on me and there will be no group buy.

At this point, it is getting to be a hassle so I will set a deadline of Monday morning (8/27). Either I have five sales in my hand or the group buy is off.

Just a reminder. If you are part of the prospective group buy you MUST say so on the order. Otherwise, I can't tell you apart from the regular orders. If you forgot to do so or you didn't see where, call me at 503-233-3878 before I ship it out. The Group Buy orders will be going out all at the same time, after the minimum buy-in is made. Anything shipping separately is going out at regular price, no exceptions.

I did receive an order this morning for an FC Pan that has no indication of relating to the GB, so it will be shipped tomorrow unless I hear otherwise.

Again, the group buy deadline is Monday, 8/27/07. If you miss it, you are free to try and start another one, but we need FIRM orders, not hazy comittments. Once you have the people lined up, I will give you another window of opportunity to make it happen...three or four days. If people can't make it happen in that time-frame, they are not serious. If it's a matter of money, coordinate amongst yourselves to find a time-frame that works out with your paychecks.
