Lightbulb Using s4 turbochargers on a Chevy4.3

i know someone had to have thought of this idea before. but im wondering how well the stock S4 turbocharger would work on the Chevy 4.3. Basically i have two spare chargers laying around collecting dust, and i have a 4.3 motor. Curious if i could combine them.

My question would each half of the 4.3 produce enough exhaust gas to drive the turbos? This would be a twin setup, so each turbo would only produce maybe 5lbs. Thoughts?

The 4.3 could spool those turbos, certainly, and make some HP with them.

Overall the TII turbos are crap for efficiency, and not well sized for the application though. If you want to put a turbo on it, headache will likely be saved by spending the money up front for a good single, or a pair of better sized, more efficient twins.

You would be better off using Ford Tbird/SVO turbos or Buick GN turbos. I think you would choke the 4.3 with those tiny things. The inlets to the stock T2 compressor wheels are schmiggly.

he didnt blow it up. . . i thought he did as well. it was a spark plug that broke off at the ground electrode. it did a little damage, but nothing a little massaging didnt fix/help. the car was sold to a guy in clarksville, tn. he has yet to get it running well. . .

You will be suprised at what can be had from a 4.3.

Check this out.....

I know it is not a turbo setup but it is forced induction.
