Toyota 3SGE beams in 1980 SA

Here's my new project I started last month. 1980 I scored for $200 running/driving like a champ. Body is straight, 1 door ding and a couple rust spots. Paint is rough. Spent the last few weeks tearing the car down for bodywork and paint. Got a 3sge out of an altezza/is200 complete with 6 speed and all wiring. Motor is sitting in the car. I'm mocking up the motor to make mounting points for the stock mounts. This has to be the easiest swap I've ever done. Everything lines up where it's suppose to, the mounts were almost in the right spot too. This is going to be a fun car.

welcome to the board.

i know from experience that those are some pretty powerful and torquey little engines. this should be an interesting swap when completed. i look forward to seeing it play out.
