Actually he deserves everything he gets for posting such a stupid question. What the hell is a "Silvua" conversion? And assuming he really did mean Silvia, what the hell is going to be converted? Body parts? The engine? The cigarette lighter? Why is it so hard to ask a complete and intelligent question?!

i think the engine swap wouldnt be such a bad idea. But to ruin the shape /body of the fc in anyway is definitely a no no for me. Thats what made me soo attracted to it, its sleekness and sexiness

I second that

The SR20 would not be that bad of an idea for being unique, but would just plain ruin the vehicles handling ability, and with proper tuning the 13b is very comparable to the SR20 and could easily be faster.

*SR20's are over rated anyways

There are a few SR20DET RX7's around and they are pretty quick. I believe there was a CA18DET conversion too. Still, if you're gonna swap the engine, you might as well swap in the LS1. There's tons of support and the completed car is already proven. A SR or CA swap is going to have less support for when you are working on the car.

If you're talking about body work, it would be easier to start with a S13 or S14 240SX. You could even put a rotary in there if you really wanted to, but there's not much point. A SR20 at 400whp is going to behave about the same as a 13B at 400whp. Not a whole lot to gain by swapping one for the other in any case.

By the way, SR20's are not cheap.
