Smile series 4 conversion aussie v6 3.8

g day to all This conversion of a series 4 non turbo motor to a v6 has been done because of the cost of repairing the origional motor and may suit only our aussie members as the donor engine is a general motors holden v6 3800 cc . I have started the conversion and the swap so far has been quite simple. the major factor being redesigning the sump as the crossmember fouls it badly. am also using the holden auto gearbox and the engine gearbox slots into position very comfortably. now only have to manufacture engine mounts and get the tailshaft /output shafts to match up .
biggest headache i have come across is the wiring to remove the excess and reconnect the new!!!! I will be posting photos in the near future. Has anyone done this conversion as any help would be appreciated and likewise im sure.wish me luck

The Series II 3800? Was this an L36 or L67? (n/a or S/C?) I've got a built GTP (L67) and have been thinking about doing a second swapped 7 with a clone of my GTP engine in it (400+ cHP), but I didn't think it'd be near clearing the bonnet... got any pics of your progress?

Good luck-

Blake
