Rx-7 parts

So yea i'm going to be getting flammed for this majorly but I really like my 93 prelude it looks awsome and all that cool jazz and i just blew my h22a1 turbo with 15lbs of boost yay! I also like rear wheel drive cars. The cost of rebuilding the H to handle boost, upgrade the tranny, and blah blah is about the cost of doing something else i want to do and selling the old prelude parts will help cover it. This is like a crazy orgy of hybirds humping each other. I figured i put a LS1 in the prelude you know cause hell i love the sound of a v8 even over the sound of the turbo. I drive my brothers trans am sideways all the time haha, seriously... Luckily it bolts right to the H series transmissions

Just kidding it doesnt really bolt up i know it looks like it but the h tranny fits inside the bellhousing of a 350 turbo. hehe

anyways im most likely going to convert it to rear wheel drive. with a ls1/t56 I looked into getting a IRS cobra rear end but they are like 61.9 inches rear track where as my preludes 59.4 and id much rather have a smaller track width I.E. 93+FD IRS. A s2000 IRS would be perfect if it werent for its weakness and i do not wish to spend 2000 for a comptech/ spoon differential.

Its only cheaper cause i will be doing all the work/ fabricating etc.. sincei have such tools and knowledge in my pocession. Plus i have a spare ls1/ t56 2 350 turbo trans 1 of them powerglide and 1 400 the 350 in the picture is not the ls1 its a target engine.

I will be retaining the preludes front suspension too just got to cut the crossmember in half relocate the rack and pinion make a front subframe all easy stuff and reverse the spindles so it becomes a front steer car. Sounds like alot of work i know but honestly its not that far fetched. Easily attainable and i have some spare cash and i much rather have something that no one else does so dont steal my idea.

Illegal??? hopefully! haha Now just got to attain a 93+ rear suspension for a rx7 hopefully ill be buying one in a couple days!!! if not any leads would be greatful.

Quick question... Why are you posting this on RX7Club? I'm not trying to be a dick or anything, and I wish you luck with your swap. It's just that you aren't putting a Rotor Motor in the 'Lude and you aren't putting a boinger in an RX7..
