Got the header mounted with some ARP M10x1.25 stainless hardware, mocked up the turbo oil lines, installed the wastegate & dump tube, and put my throttle body back on:
I also finished up my fuel lines and had a chance to pressurize the system and check for leaks (had to use my phone to record video since I couldn't see the gauge and provide power to the pump at the same time. This is the sound of the Magnafuel MP 4301, lol:

Also, a few updates:
I powder coated my modified water outlet in wrinkle black, along with the charge pipes. Welded on my Tial Q BOV flange and installed that as well. I also finished my upper and lower radiator lines and installed my turbo oil lines (wrapped in DEI heat sleeve). Then I made some upper radiator mounts and welded those onto the radiator.

Thank you sir. It's been a long road...
Today I got my vacuum block installed and push-to-connect hose ran to intake manifold, FPR, and BOV.
Belt tensioner cleaned up & painted, and installed a 6-rib pulley & shorter belt to account for my lack of A/C & PS.
I also built a catch can and put my down pipe in place. I need to finesse the angle of the turbo slightly so the charge pipes and exhaust line up to where they should be. Getting closer to the first start up!

Ran a couple of lines, and my air filter I ordered showed up. I also adjusted the turbo orientation and clocked the compressor slightly so everything lined up like I wanted it to:

My motor is sitting so far back that that little "lip" portion on the firewall is all banged up.
Seeing how nice your engine bay and thinking about how FUBAR'd mine is makes me wanna cry. LOL
Question, though..
What are you running for your cooling fan? You know the 2JZ's require like 3,300 CFM to stay cool.

4 causes of 2jz-gte engine overheating, and some coolant boiling issues

As for the cooling fan, I am using a fan rated at 2000 CFM, but also a dual pass radiator which should help out considerably. The fan is also shrouded, and I plan on adding some ducting once the car is running to make the airflow go through the radiator. If that turns out to be not enough cooling, I will re-evaluate my options.
Yeah, it may be loud, but I love it, haha.

Unfortunately, not really. The car is close, and it has been spun over, but still needs some buttoning up. I still don't have a rear diff mount or driveshaft. Pretty much everything else is there, but other aspects of life took priority. I haven't given up on it just yet though.

I expected to click in here and see a video of you doing burnouts! I haven't touch my car in literally 1 year. Summer is creeping up and I came here for some motivation. Some other hobbies have stolen my attention. I need to consolidate.

Yearly thread bump time...I finally got my *** in gear and got back to work on this 6 year long project! I spent some time double checking my wiring, and made an exhaust downturn, before adding some fresh 93 octane to the tank. The result (after realizing I was missing a ground and chasing a weak spark) was the first start. This is still running stupid rich, with a base tune that I definitely need to tweak, but it's alive! I had to feed it throttle to keep it running, and I need to top off my oil and trans fluid since it filled the lines/cooler, so it's only a quick vid. I picked up a samberg diff brace to install and then I will measure for a driveshaft.

FINALLY!!! This was my all time favorite build thread I've ever read. I was a little sad when you stopped updating. My friend ran into that same ground problem when he did the first start up on his supra after doing the gte swap.

Thanks guys. I installed my samberg diff brace and will order my driveshaft this week. I also did some tuning and am happy to report it idles well on its own now. More updates in the next few weeks hopefully.

Haha, yeah I'm still kickin'. I've set a deadline for the end of the year to either have the car finished, or part it out... I'm hoping for the former! I just have so many projects, and need to give myself some hard deadline to get **** done.
