Well at this point I'm at a stand still until I can get the car to my buddy's shop to fab the manifold, exhaust, trans brace, and drive shaft. I'll update as soon as I can.

Yeah very nice build. I'm sticking to rotary but it's always nice to see other builds. Lots of work. I didn't know swapping to a RB required cutting the firewall and stuff. Was that a custom subframe for the motor that u made or was it some conversion kit? Cool stuff man! best of luck. I like the Z with the "twin z" fascia in the very first pic. That's rare.

I'm not a big fan of this swap, but you seem to be doing a damn good job of it. Nice parts! Change my mind!

Thanks man, I wish I knew more about the rotary then I would of kept it. Cutting the fire wasn't really necessary because the the shifter made it into the car but it was right against the front edge of the shifter tunnel so shifting to 1st, 3rd, and 5th would mean punching the radio/center console so cutting the firewall was mainly for painless shifting The subframe was a V8 conversion kit that I acquired and made a few mods for my particular application. The Z was my brothers car... up until it got stolen about a year ago but he's doing another project now.

Thanks, I've seen some pretty hacked work out there with this particular swap and I'm trying my best to not take that route. After all, I plan to drive this and don't need parts falling off.

This project is scrapped. I'm selling a built RB25 motor and 5 speed transmission. I'll sell as one or separate. I'll also sell the subframe if the car doesn't sell first. Let me know if anyone is interested.

You'll have better luck selling your RB25 motor/trans on a 240SX forum.

I really don't have to or want to but its starting to distract me from completing my bachelors degree so I'm getting rid of it. I'll start another later on once I'm done with school. If the car doesn't sell then I'll just lock it away in a storage somewhere so at least I don't see it everyday haha

The rb26 guys will probably want the trans, and the rb25/20 guys may want to keep a spare around if the compression is good. It should go well with tax return session opens.
