well im still deployed, i just bought the car and havent even seen it in person yet, had my wife and buddy ck it out and hell it was only 500$ so even if something is wrong i can use it as a parts car. and as for bracing and what not, the ls1 is a **** ton lighter then an lt1 so im not sure on the extra weight of the lt engine. with the ls eng im using a hinson kit and it comes with everything needed, after the instal is all said and done it will only add like 80 lbs to the front with the ls engine. have you checked out V8rx7 forum? as for handling with the vert, i and getting a 6 point roll cage for it to stiffen up the top of the car, plus ihra and nhra rules say that any vert faster then a 13.49 needs a certified roll bar and any vert faster then 10.99 needs a certified roll cage and with the stock ls1 alone it should run mid to high 12's but i plan on camming it and with a few other bolt ons it should be good for mid to low 11's with about 400 at the wheels...
