NY my formal introduction...

hey people.
i'm RJ from South Buffalo. i'm 28, certified technician(NYS inspector) and professional welder for Delavan Industries, i weld and assemble parts for these

have a couple kids and am what you call a player. but i can afford to do so. ....
real easy goin logical person who is the type to search for hours before asking a stupid question. i''m an active member of dozens of other boards that mostly comprise of drifting and nissans.
i've been drifting for 6 years this year. owned 6 S13's and one S14. meaning my daily drifter has been a s chassis for 6 years
i am one of the coolest car guys around, a professional car guy. and have the skills to get it done........
i represent Driftset, Team Suislide and all real, no bullshit car guys(and women) out there
so i just picked up an 88 fc3s gtu
it has no engine.trans, body ecu and a bunch of other crap. i am amazed on all the little controllers there are for sub-systems.it seems to be missing alot of little things, like the body ecu it needs to get the sunfoof, heater, lights and electrical stuff working. so i will be asking about this..
i guess i used to have a 20b in it. has crappy looking mounts welded to the front sub-frame. i'm sure you guys have seen it before. i saw this car in some guys sig a while back. has an intital d "red suns" sticker on the quater... and tein stickers on front fenders.
but it is crispy as hell and a 6 pt cage welded in. hauled it's *** home from columbus last week.
imho i always thought the FC was way hotter then the S13 or 14.
so now i have one, and i'm installing a nissan engine and going to drift the **** out of it.
flame away.......but you can consider it done already. i think the rotary is an awesome engine with unlimited potential, but i have 2 spare rb, spare sr, and tons of ka's. what would you do?
this is my daily: MR. Soul Brotha Brown (sbb)
series 2 rb25, rb20 wastegate(10psi),pod filter
aluminum prop shaft
full weight reduction(streetable)
4 pt weld in bar
welded diff
ksport coilovers
welded door hatch and interior seams
long studs, gang of gauges, afc2 custom, exhaust-keeps cops off me
and a tons of little parts, tricks and what-not.

this is my fc, you will slap your mom if you knew how much i picked it up for

so i will be lurking and learning about how rx7 owners get down. i'm excited as hell to get info and start assembling this car. thanks in advance for any help you may provide.
here is a vid you may or may not enjoy.

driftset

You're very ignorant in regard to the amount of abuse a rotary can take. Throw in a 13b-re from Japan2La with a hks log manifold and a gt35r and a standalone. You will have a drop in motor that will last plenty long until you decide to freshen up the motor or build it right.
