Has anyone done a LV3 V6 swap into a FC?

I haven't seen one. I was wondering the same for the LGZ that is in my 2017 Colorado. It has a little more HP (308) then the LV3 (285).

I was looking into the GM 4.3L Lv1 or LV3 from the Silverado to swap into my 1990 Mazda RX7 FC. Almost double the HP and much better MPG. It is the same engine as the 5.3L v-8 eco tec engine minus 2 cylinders. But it is too tall with the factory intake manifold and oil pan. No one makes aftermarket parts for the LV3. The LV3 has been around since 2014, probably nearing the end of its life cycle so there will not be aftermarket parts coming to market.
Good luck with your search.

Why not the LFX V6 of the Camaro with the associated manual transmission?

Thanks for your suggestion.
I looked into the LFX engine. Same situation I am finding with the LV3: no one else seems to have done one, cannot find any swap kits or info on doing it. I'm not a welder/fabricator so would need a swap kit.
The LFX has an advantage over the LV1/Lv3, it has a lower intake manifold. The LV1/LV3 is too tall to fit in the RX7 FC. Not finding any aftermarket intake manifold for that engine.

Yeah, the FC is too old of a platform for anyone to invest time into new swap kits imo. There is more than one swap kit to fit the LFX into an RX8, NC Miata and other platforms though.

Ronin makes some swap parts for the FC but it is for LS V8 engines. You probably know that already...
