Put an ls2 in it and then you you won't have to worry about another blown engine. Or learn not to rev to 10k.

Is it?

Perhaps you could explain why you would want to turn 10k rpm when power is already falling off by or before 8k rpm. Do you have a peripheral port engine that you neglected to mention, and if so, what rpm did it idle at?

If you're worried about gas....Rotary isn't the way to go.

if you get the wrecked FD i'd be happy to try and take some interior pieces off your hands.

Also where is Da Burgh?

there have been a few guys who have done this swap, there are a few threads in the 2nd gen section.. search on 13brew or 13b-rew...

any how there are a couple ways to do it... the first way is to buy or fabricate a cradle mount that bolts to the engine in the stock FD positions and bolts to the FC chassis stock location

the second way is to drill and tap the bottom of the center plate for the passanger side mount and then fab up a driver side mount

one other issue is the oil pan and other small stuff

*edit*
