engine swap into 3rd gen, cost????

i want a four cylinder motor. sr20det, f20c, etc etc. is this easy? is there a swap kit for four cylinder motor? how much would it cost to pay someone to do it not including parts? anyone know of a place? thanks

well thats a pretty open ended question.

It will cost you what ever it costs there is no real set in stone price.

if you do a SR20 DEt it whont be legal to emission here in washington state. why do you want a 4 cyl??????

just a thought a LS1 or a similar motor is about the same weight as the rotary and almost as small

so you will need to buy a motor $$
trans (maybee the rotary one will work) $$$
some fab work for the install $$$
electrical to make it work $$$$
if you want ac and all that stuff you will need custom lines for the pump for the motor you swap in.$$$
depending on the motor you choose the hood might not fit, 4 cyl motors are sometimes higher due to the straight up and down mounting of them.

possible custom drive shaft.$$$

ever thought about a VG30DETT grannys sells a kit to install that motor that would be cool and you can pick up a 300ZX for not too much these days if they are wrecked..
