I helped a friend with his LS1 into FC swap. Stock LS1 shortblock with stage 3 heads, a 244/237 cam, LSX intake, good tuning. 480 RWHP and just over 410 RWTQ, on pump gas. That's before the nitrous kit, he has the pills set at a conservative 125 HP right now, so you're looking at over 600 RWHP on pump gas with a truck load of streetability. He's saving up some money for new pistons and rods, then we're gonna run an F1 procharger on it and ditch the nitrous all together. Lots of people love the rotary and want to stick with it, but the V8 is a viable alternative.
