EFI system - Your help needed...
Dear Readers
I am doing Electronics Engineering and wishing to select EFI system as my final year project.
Can anybody help me in converting a small engine of motorcycle (Honda CD-70) into EFI???
1. Can a motorcycle engine be converted to EFI? What is its feasibility? We only just want to demonstrate the project. We want to purchase only engine of the motorcycle, thereafter converting it into EFI.
2. Has Honda 70cc motorcycle two stroke or four stroke engine?
3. Are fuel injectors for 70cc motorcycle available in the market?
Please help me as I need this information on urgent basis.
Yours truely

get a mass air flow sensor, use the throttle body off of the stock carb, and get one injector
take the carb apart and only keep the throttle body. use the stock mount for the carb to mount the TB, mount the injector in the intake (close to the ports, and the MAF before the TB
if you build a small controller board using a programable eeprom you should be able to get it to meter somewhat the right amount of gas for the amount of air being inducted, it will take a few tries and reprogrammings to get the mixture acceptible, but it should work well enough to make it run
you can add other things (O2, MAP,whatever) if you need more precise metering
edit: if the MAF element is on a wire, get a smaller tube to mount it in so it can read better at low flow
a single injector from any small 4 banger should be close enough to work
and btw, dont forget to get the fuel pressure up to where it needs to be
