Starting a thread for our Lemons build this winter. After many hours of prodding salvage yards and build threads, we selected the Ecotec as the best endurance racing engine for our specific series we plan to run (Lemons, Chump and WRL)

We are taking an LE5 Ecotech (2.4), and using parts from "EcoMiata", a NB 5 Speed Miata Transmission and a 4:10 rear gear, Custom Prop shaft.

I am going to be picking up an Ecotec this weekend and I will being logging photos into this thread as we begin the swap.

If theres interest, we will be manufacturing trans and engine mounts which utilize the stock FB front suspension.
