Anyone thought of putting a camaro v6 motor into a 93 rx7? The newer v6 models make over 300 hp and its similar in weight to the rotary motor, so itll maintain really good handling. The blocks mounts are similar too so mounting wont be an issue. Any thoughts? Pineapple racing turned me onto the idea and I can of like it, but there isnt much info on doing it! Any tips/concerns/insight on the idea?

 

probably going to be one of those things that you're on your own about. if you're really thinking about doing it, it may make better sense finding out what family of GM engines that that V6 belongs to and then finding a forum for them.

 

Check out the Miata forums...the LFX swap even has a kit from v8roadsters...I know a Miata isnt a RX7, but you will be able to find info on dimensions, engine management, etc.
