any piston motor adaptable to rx7 tranny?

motor that is perfect fit for manual tranny. or easy to install with little mods.?

no, you'll need the transmission that came with that engine.

I'm sure you can get an adaptor plate made to fit the rx7 trans.. but for the expense you can just use the one that was made for that engine...

a variant of the 4g63 (2.4L SOHC that came in the mighty max truck) will fit a T2 tranny. You can swap over the DOHC head from the 4g63.

The 4g64 is the 2.4L. Both the 4g63 and 4g64 came in wideblocks. Get a 4g6x wideblock and a B2600 bellhousing, they will bolt up to each other and to the TII tranny.
