1jz to T56/magnum, what experience have you had?

I am planning my 1jz swap and want to use a T56 magnum. I know it is possible and have seen a few options. Those include using adapter plates or recently I came across a bell housing that is designed to fit a 1jz/2jz and a T56.

If you have gone this path, what options did you use and did you wish you went another way? Not so much with the trans, but the adapter setup?

Supra Store even sells a full kit (Bell housing, dual clutch, and throwout bearing) as a complete package. Though this kit is for the 2jz, I am trying to confirm if the clutch setup will work with the 1jz as well. I know the bolt patterns for the bell housing is the same.

Sorry I missed this. I pulled the trigger on the quick time bell housing for the t56. I am going to be running a close ratio t56 magnum.

Google Grannas racing and he can hook you up with all the parts you need.
