1984 fb project car

Hey guys my name is max and im trying to make the cheapest fb build i can, this means im doing all the work and my only priority is having 180+ horsepower and a manual transmission. well those and i have to be able to start the car with the key and have ac
so right now i dont have an engine or transmission but i see that there is a 2000 4.3l chevy s10 4x4 with a manual transmission for sale for 500$ with a burnt clutch, its my only option with a rwd manual around where i live for cheap

so here is my problem and i searched around but i cant seem to find an easy to read wiring diagram for my 84 fb. if i can find that so i can label all the wires this would make my life so much easier. if someone can link something to me that would be great

this link will send you to a video on youtube i took of the car after i gutted it. in the video i ask if anyone can help me figure out what wires do what for the swap. if you can link an easy to read diagram of it that would be great

where can i get this plastic clip thing for the lights?

this is a picture showing what i have on the driver side in terms of wires. i have no idea what i need...

the rearveiw of the not so gutted interior

this is a computer on the passenger side, what does it do?

rust repair on the wheel wells, it looks the same on the other side

there are 2 computer looking things that are in the back of the driver and passenger seat, i assume they're for audio.

i didnt realize my finger was in the way but you can see the rust hole in the picture on the driver side. its the only rust hole in the car that means after thats welded in i need no rust repairs

OK i have a problem, i have no idea what wires do what and where the wires will/ should be. my question is how to i wire a engine to the stock wiring? im pretty sure all i need is the starter to be connected to the key and the engine connected to the ecu then the ecu connected to the battery through Acc right?

OK, so i got that truck and i gutted the interior, i even took out the steering rack, the only wires i kept(that i actually marked) were the wires that went straight to the ignition, there are 6 wires and i dont know what they did so i guessed their purpose and i thought about testing them but i took the battery and the radiator out so if i was to try to start it i would pour oil on my lawn...ill just wait until the engine is in the car to try to turn it on or even better ill follow the wire down to the starter. for the fuel pump ill just have to follow the wire from the pump to the rx7 ecu then just swap that wire with the wire from the truck for the pump. ill probably also have to take the truck fuel pump too xD. ill make a video on my progress soon enough, if anyone knows how to modify a shifter location on a manual tranny let me know

Located a manual transmission that will bolt up to the engine for 300$, im going to have to extend the shifter to make it fit but thats not a big deal. also a video update on how its going down, i just got hired full time to a garage so i hope that will help me out as much as i think it would. i just need to know how to weld now xD
paid 1100$ in total so far for the car, add 345 for the transmission (after tax) then the amount im spending on buying a welder because i know ill need it. and probably the cherry picker for 200$.

ok so its been a while and so far ive gotten the engine out of the truck and on the ground in front of the rx7 outside on my lawn. i measured both the engine and the engine bay heights and this made me confused because the engine is a few centimeters too tall for the rx7 engine compartment and thats with the tape measure measuring from the ground up. the engine is 82 centimeters and the engine bay height is about 70cm then you have a couple centimeters below the car that could be temporarily used but my main problem is how high am i going to mount the 4.3?

quick update, i got the v6 in the car and i gave a professional welder my crossmember so he can weld a plate to put my mounts on. after thats done i can start wiring the engine up and start plumbing things. ill put a video up eventually, i work full time so ill have to do it on the weekends.
im also putting stiffer springs in the front to make up for the oil pan hanging down 2 inches below the crossmember and 205/60/15 tires to give me an extra inch of ground clearance.

Its been a while and i havent been able to do much
i finally got the transmission, flywheel, clutch and slave today, i could have probably worked on the fuel lines or wiring in the meantime now that i think about it but thats in the past now..

I asked the junkyard for the transmission mid october and i got it today.. go figure, and another thing is that the shifter is 13 inches from the engine when it has to come out in the rx7 which is 29 inches from the engine so i have to extend the thing 16 inches back...

so far ive spent 1500$ on the car.
and i know about grannys website, ill be using it to calibrate my speedometer, thanks for suggesting it though.

i failed to mention that i want to get the car moving under 3000$ total including towing and car price. obviously ill spend more but ill try to keep it cheap

been a while

its been a while. basically i mounted the transmission so i can make a custom shifter, i cut a hole in my hood to let the hood close and im ordering stuff to make it drive, including an oil filter adapter, clutch system, chevy driveshaft and i think im going to relocate the battery over to the drivers side and shove a sub in the passenger compartment. other then that its moving slowly, money is the thing slowing me down. it runs and stuff. ill post a couple pictures later on, im too lazy to do it right now.

Nv3500 transmission is in, I got a mount for it too, made the mount myself with scrap from behind wallmart. Welded and cut the slave cylinder so I can bleed it from outside the transmission and I can unscrew the clutch line instead of using the quick disconnect crap. Car starts for 3 seconds then turns off because of vats, got a Driveshaft for it and I'm just waiting for Monday to send the computer 3 hours away to get it flashed. That's all
