Why is the Rx2 left hanging? EFU NOPI

Why is it NOPI, those Gods of the Aftermarket, can provide Rx3 owners with carbon fibre hoods while us Rx2 owners are left out to dry? I have emailed them several times on this matter but have yet to recieve a responce. Rather then fixing my stocker I'd sure like to have the trick, weight-reducing carbon version. Anyone out there feel the same?

You are not alone.
Me, I have (2) '73 RX2s, a 2dr and a 4dr. It's a nightmare getting just the basic parts. I am having problems locating the basic items such as ball joints, tie rod ends, drag link, brake master cylinder, struts... I need them all. My cars steering suspension and brakes are extremely worn.
I wish there was a list of parts from other vehicles that can replace the unavailable RX2 parts with little or no modifications.
I wish that I could find parts for the RX2 as easily as I do my '69 Datsun 510 with the 4port 13B. Just a dream of mines.

napa can get most of the steering parts, ball joints,
tie rods, front brakes are easy to get from the dealer.
front shocks are still easy to get from kyb and are not
to much money.
anything else you need?
I know i need a idler arm and no one makes them any
more, so i might make on my self.
I might be getting some cross numbers from other
manufacturers that will be close replacements for tie rod ends.
I hate to use parts that were not made exactly for the rx2
but something is better than nothing.

I got the bushings from Oztec, USA, full Noltec's, VintageImports.com by website or always on Ebay...he always has stuff...I got ball joints from him. My tie-rods are ok...I'd rather make some spherical bearing ends for them thou...Big brake kits would kick *** also. But body parts such as HOODS, Fenders, grills. Need that ****!

I just looked at rareparts and all they show for the rx2
is tie rod connector sleeves, that's it nothing else, and
the rx2 has a tie rod connector rod not a sleeve.
also did a search for r100 parts and they show nothing
at all for the r100.
if someone got rx2 tie rods and other steering parts
then rareparts.com is keeping it a secret and not putting
these parts on their web page.
I could be wrong i am just going by what came up on a
search on their web site.
