Where's the Battle Mountain RX-3???
Found this 1973 Rx-3 coupe a few years ago in a place called "Battle Mountain" Nevada. Go through this place about once a year and the car was always there. Went through Battle Mountain last month and the car was gone. The wrecking yard nearby says they don't have it. The car was abandoned and just sitting behind an abandoned warehouse. Wanted to buy the car but no one knew who it belonged to! Anybody know who got it????

Hmm sounds like the same problem I have been having. Get the VIN run it through the DMV and they can tell you the owner and then all you do is track them down.

No, but Battle Mountain was named "Armpit" of America by the Washington Post magazine! They have their "Armpit Festival" the second weekend of August. I'm not kidding. The town prefers bad press to no press at all. It is a pretty awful place and I feel sorry for anyone who has to live there.
