found a good condion intact rotary pickup
truck-all origonal including engine. how much should i pay for it and would an rx-7 5-speed tranny go into it
with out much trouble?
i am clueless to what it is worth

I just bought a really nice REPU from a guy in Walnut Creek CA for $1100. 120k and only 15k on new motor. I think I got a real good deal. I've got about $500 in new stuff (fluids, balljoints, etc) and figure to put another $500 into it. Maybe I'll put $1500 into the bodywork/paint.

I wouldn't take less than $3500 for it now.

I found this one in some Ladys side yard. when I nocked on her door to ask about it (at 11 am) she was completly drunk and started yellin' about how the truck was her "baby" and she'd never sell it. then a minute later she said she might sell and took my phone number "just in case".
I have no idea what kind of shape the motor is in. it was spotlesley clean, but the carb was taken off and in peices. she said her boyfreind was trying fo fix it.

I hope she calls me though, that thing was dam cool, I had never seen one in person before.

I gave $250 for mine. It was the only I have ever seen also. It is rusty all over but i own a restoration company so I am able to get it back in shape by myself. It runs fine. But if if I found a clean one I would pay abouta grand i suppose. Beaware that parts for the repu are no longer available so most parts are very difficult to find.
