What is the highest rpm rotary?

Who has info on any rotary engine with extremely high recorded rpm? I know F1 cars rev to 20k or something, what is the highest you've heard any rotary revving to? Have some kind of proof though...

the highest i can think of is the MPS rx-7.

the tach says 14k but they seem to stop ~10k so I'm not sure.

With pinned, hardend gears in a tear port, saw 11,000. Found out not a good idea to do that very often.

I shift my Peripheral Port at 11k,only because i don't have a close ratio trans.my engine stops making Power at 9800,but i shift at 11 to keep the engine in the powerband.

Unlike piston engines, rotary can literally have an infinite rpm redline because of the way it revolves if you were in a vacuum like space for example. The highest I have ever heard of a RPM stop was a 6 rotor engine that redlined at 17,000 rpms and there was a video on youtube, I will see if I can try and find it and post.

What the hell? I have no idea what your talking about, but theres a little something called inertia that might disagree with you.

I think it would be wise to disregard any mechanical advice that person gave you...

your buddy must live out in the sticks,a non muffled Peripheral Port is about 120 db at idle, driving one on the street would attract the cops for literally miles away and you would have to wear ear plugs under ear muffs while driving, take it from me,been there, done it.

umm
a 13b or 12a stops making power at 10,200
for a turbo rotory you dont have to rev that high
but i take my rebuit stock motor to t 9,500
all i have is poished housings and street port

im not sure f i want to do that exhaust race port
should i
eh what the hell ill do it
