Arrow What to get, RX3 or RX2?

Ive been in the market for a while trying to get me a oldschool rotary and theres so much RX3s and RX2s that have come to my attention but three top the list.

1)76 RX3 SP with 13B engine Pined and monster ported, original interiors.

2)1973 RX3 with original motor and auto tranny, great paint and interiors.

3)1973 RX2 showroom conditions, 13b 6port engine, streetport, lightened rotors, original restored interiors, gsl se rear lsd, 5 speed gsl se tranny.

Heres some pics of the RX2 and the 73 RX3 no pictures of the 76 SP RX3 maybe ill load some up today.

73 RX3

73 RX2

I'd go the RX-2 route. FYI, the RX-3SP was 77-78 only. If the rear windows roll down, it's not an SP. Chassis code can tell you, too.

That Rx-2 is really nice! I do like the Rx-3 though as well.... it's a tough call but I'd say go Rx-2. Either way I don't think you could go wrong.

If its a original RX3 SP get that one. It comes with a close 5 speed gear ratio that kickass stock. Even better with a pined and monster port engine.

Wow! That rx-3 looks like it is my car's unmolested twin brother.

RX-2's have their good points, but I'm an RX-3 fan.

They're not easy to find. Gotta grab them quick when they come up for sale. That's how I got mine.

Well, I like both. The rx3's are more common so I tend to like the rx2 a little more because they are harder to come by and I like to be different. However, the rx3 is much easier to find parts for than the rx2. The rx3 has leaf springs in the back which are easy to raise and lower and find shocks for. The rx2 has struts in the back with a factory 4 link setup and good luck finding any rear struts for an rx2 because there are no inserts for the rears. Ask me how I know.

Get the RX2...I have a similar engine setup in my rx3 and it hauls *** in a 1800 lb car. I love the RX3 look way better, but you will be spending a load more to get that car to the same performance level. either way, GL and cant get wrong with both cars!!
