What did I just buy?

well, I just came picked up a datsun from 1967 with the interior completely stripped along with all badging VIN's
except for one busted badge that has "SSS" on it. The car has a solid axle and dual control arms up front. Ill try and get pics this weekend. Any guesses?

Couldnt pass it up, got it for $75

4 -door sedan ? If so they came from the factory
with the 1600cc twin carb engine from the little
Datsun sports car. Had a little beefer suspension.

Had one back in the 70's. It scooted pretty good.Put
some big tires on it and drove it like I stole it.

Pretty rare thease days.

I'm sure it's a 510 SSS, which is extremely rare. You should look into restoring it if you are able to.

Wow. That's a pretty good find. I can't believe you bought a car for $75, let alone one that rare.

It couldnt be a 510/1600, cuse those where from 68 to 73. They only made 510/1600 for 5 years, over here anyways that I know of. I am guessings its a 411, cuse they made those in sss models. As you can see from the link antiSUV posted..

a Datsun?
man, those cars are now pretty old. There is a Datsun SSS parked near my friend's apartment. Would be a very good but challenging project due to limited parts availablity. It ain't running of course....
