uh oh bought a repu

So I got a repu finally and to top it off I got a good deal on it.truck came with a jdm s5 turbo II engine and trans,it also has a t4 turbo and some type of hks looking Wastegate.picked it up for 2k so its very well worth it.I have been looking for a rotary truck for some time now and I am happy this came through.

So the truck came with a few goodies, used jdm s5 turbo II motor and trans, brand new racing beat double belt main and alternator pulley, probably a Chinese t4 turbo and Wastegate, and all brand new front suspension already installed from brushing to tie rods and shocks.I'm going to try and get it running with stock second gen efi so I can get it going for now,I just need a truck to haul stuff with.

I was messing with my photobucket and for some reason pictures got deleted but here it is again.

They had done a fuel rail and modified the uim for 4 injectors.I'm going to take this off and run stock lim and uim.

get it running soon Davey so you can bring it to the first "Strictly Old School Only" cruise (RX and Non-RX), planning/organizing is in progress.

So I decided to remove the China turbo and Wastegate and I'm running a stock s4 turbo and custom made exhaust manifold.my friend had this combo on his repu but went bigger on turbo so I ended up with it.I didn't want to risk the engine with a China made cheap Wastegate.I also put stock intake manifold on so I can run regular injectors.

got a hold of a stock shifter and I already had a fc short shifter,so after a little cutting and welding I have a repu short throw shifter that looks like a stock repu shifter.

This is where it was welded together and grinded down.

I also found a radiator and put it on,progress is going slowly cause Im helping a lot of friends with their projects.slowly but surely it will get there.

just to wind you up a little
here is a little snip of the one i have done
,, LPG fuel , hybrid tall port /RESI 6 port engine / rx4 rotors and housings , custom inlet manifolds,, baby S trim s4 highflow
2.5 inch dump into 2 x 2.5 dual exhaust system

286 RWHP at 13 psi
- and as cheap as a petrol 100 KW 2L engine to operate
( around $25-30 aus per 200 km , city cycle , heavily boosted )

Been a while since last update but been busy and finally got some time to go to the local yard and get a underdash fc rx7 harness and make my efi harness for the truck.got the harness done and going to install it this friday along with the fuel pump.I put a battery on the truck just to make sure my lights work and see where to get ignition power for my efi haress,so far lights work but turn signals don't but will deal with that once the truck is running.will post pics of pogress as I go.
