tire / wheel sizing

alright, so im at the point right now where the next thing on my list is getting new tires and getting the wheels balanced, but im completely lost as to what im going to put on the car. im not sure if i want to stick with 13" wheels, or if i want to move up to either 14/15. im not sure how much of a difference theres going to be with acceleration between them, and then theres always the problem of finding the tires to fit. seems like with 13s or 14s i dont have many choices to go with. and to end this rant, how wide can the tires be that i stuff in the back/front?

wheels:
http://rotawheels.com/rb.php (what tires are 245 r13!?)
http://www.diamondracingwheels.com/MiniStockSeries.htm (good prices / couple choices for tires)
annnnd. i havent even looked at whats available in 14/15.

You could redrill the hubs to a more common bolt pattern and put something more modern on there.
