Would love to hear the drive-by on this setup!!

Just do a long primary collected to 2.5" and get the 81-82 muffler. It'll make more power and be quieter on the street. But now we're cluttering up this guy's thread.

You're gonna lose low end power if you do that. Otherwise I'd ask how big of a bridgeport or peripheral port do you have and where is your expected powerband?

Chatted with RacingBeat today and he said on a largely ported engine (which my 6 port is) they suggest 2" of pipe per rotor and do not restrict it at all. He said for my application he would suggest 4".

I would recommend not going over 3" after the collector on a street car. My race car is only 3". Also if you plan on running two 2" pipes all the way back to a single muffler and want to use a wideband o2 sensor than you have to run the wiring all the way back to the collector or use two o2 sensors which is expensive

The "Puerto Rico Extreme" power pulse muffler from Racing Beat is part number 16436. It is made in Mantova ITL by Italian exhaust manufacturer CSC (silenziatori speciali per auto) and is marketed in the USA by Racing Beat.

Its actually a 2.75" O.D. - but not just the inlet. My understanding is its internally that wide as well.
I chatted with a rep from RacingBeat about it, he said that they couldn't go to full 3" because there wasn't much muffling going on - too much space taken up by the pipe.
Agreed though, still rather metallic. I'm currently thinking about 2 of the universal pre-silencers into one of these.

So after several people telling me to try just one silencer first, i took the plunge and got a similar setup.
Here's how it turned out:
FB RX7 hill climb cruise - YouTube
This is an S5 6-port large street port
Rotary Shack MaxPower 3" collected header
Racing Beat 3" universal silencer
Racing Beat PR Extreme muffler
Both of our vids seem louder than they may actually be - the tone is very aggressive however decibel wise this is quieter than stock under most driving conditions.
IRL i'm amazed at the sound - its total sleeper status. You will never hear these beasts creeping up behind you
