SU carbs?

Has anyone ever tried these on a rotary engine? I have 50mm on my draw thru turbo VW....runs well, constant velocity carb, should do good on a rotary...Just a ???

Hurley uses SU carbs on their multi-rotor engines like the 3 rotor 12A (17A).
