Stock REPU Carburetor Decrapification
Stock REPU Carburetor Decrapification
I'm in the process of simplifying the wiring harness on my REPU, including removing all the emissions related stuff since the section of the harness leading to the emissions "computer" fried itself under a previous owner's tenure. A ton of those wires terminate at the carburetor.
I'm wondering what can be removed from the carburetor and if any adjustments need to be made to accommodate the lack of electrical doo-hickeys. The manual goes into very little detail about what any of the components do. I saw a Hitachi Carburetor service manual somewhere, once upon a time, but I can't find the link anymore.

I ran a Rx7 carb w/o emissions and no electronics for years. Keep the secondaries vacuum actuated, making them mechanical has them come online too early for light throttle use or when stabbing the go pedal.
