first ? can anyone tell me from experience how much a 13b t with manual trans fully dressed ie. p/s, a/c pump, alternator, i/c, cas, etc weighs?
second? does anyone know how long from crank pulley to tail of trans a 13b t is?
how wide are motor mounts on 13b t?
if standing in front of 2nd gen what side of the engine does the harness exit on? is it the same for japanese engines or does it go to the other side?
if measured from the front of the bell housing where it meets the rear side housing how far away is the shift lever?
now the stupid ? what kind of gas mileage can i see from a tII engine in a car that weighs (very) roughly 2900 lbs with no major upgrades except a few pounds more boost and a front mount with damn near stock gear ratios?
to explain my stupid ?'s i am going to swap one into my 240sx to avoid the trendy following of the sr20 swap and also my ka is shitting on me as we speak. i have full fabrication experience and work for a turbo reman shop so eventually i will have to upgrade that as per my boss. i decided to do this swap because i've never seen it done and my room mates in college had alot i mean ALOT of freakin rotaries in our house and garage and i kinda miss them now. i also want something lighter that can balance my car out a little better too, i just want to know if this is a stupid swap that people will hate me for or if the rotary community will embrace it? i love the handling and clean lines of my car but want something different from the drifter crowd. tell me what you think good or bad i would love to hear it.

i would ask these questions in the general rotary section or the second gen section. but ya those KA motors suck ***. my buddy has a 240 with the KA. he always talks about going to the sr20 motor.
