Is the Rx3 in the same 'condition'? Runner? Nice grab/rescue.

 

i was told it ran but i spent my energy on the rx2. i will put a battery and some gas on it and see what happens.

i do need a few parts for the 3 though. if anyone (or you know someone who) has a grill, driver door glass, trunk lid or tail lights, please get in touch with me. ill be at jccs and can meet in socal.

Yeah I plan on selling the 3. Waiting on some parts to show up so it's more complete. Got it running today.

whats the story on how you found it?

 

took my rx2 to a car show. another attendee started talking to me about it. said his friend had a really nice one. he ended up sending that guy a pic of my car. guy messaged back saying he had some parts i could use and gave me his number. called him. set up a time to look at what he had. these were sitting out back under a tree and buried about 4" in the dirt. after negotiating a price on the parts, he offered to just sell the whole rx2 to me, which led to him offering to sell the rx3 too. went home. chatted with the one in charge. green lit. picked them up following day. started posting info and videos of them here.

i picked up a grill and some tails.
looks like the grill doesnt fit though, i guess they changed throughout model years. its close but not quite there.


anyone know what model year grill i have and which one i need?

 

You have a 73 and older grill... you need a 74 newer

thanks man. thanks for the help too. i tried to find a viable solution to be able to keep it. even got the green light by the crazy chinese lady i live with(i love you) but i just dont have room or capital to fully restore this and keep my other projects going as well.
