I have a friend here in Fresno who was looking into getting an rx3.

I'm not sure how soon he'd be able to get a car though.

I'm very interested, but I live pretty far away. I need to know wht price neighborhood you are wanting. Does this thing run well? Could it make a 30 or so hour road trip? Do you have any interior pictures? Any pics of the body damage?

I'm very interested.

Thanks,
Nick

Yes on all counts. I mainly drive it around town when I can, but there's nothing wrong with it mechanically so I don't see why it wouldn't make a long distance trip. I'd probably want a better set of tires on it if I were going to drive it that far, but that's about all I can think of.

As for price, we're trying to get in the ~$3000 range. We have an offer for 3, but just waiting on the person to gather funds. I'm about to list it on eBay to see if it will bring over 3.

I have detailed photos of everything. Yesterday I touched up the damaged areas with some paint so it wouldn't look so bad, but I do have before and after type photos. Also will get some interior photos within the hour. Will let you know.

You can email me privately and we can talk. I hope that I can come up with the money before the local guy can! Send me as many pictures of it as you can. I'm waiting on my severence pay from getting laid off to buy, should be here this week. The important word in that sentence is "SHOULD"

Sorry, I took a little longer than expected to clean it up and get all the photos taken.

Anyway, I just listed it on eBay yesterday - it can be viewed at http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/aw-cg...item=595933613 or just click here.

Email if you have any questions.

Thanks,
Mike

My eBay auction doesn't always display all photos of the car, for all photos (reliably) visit my generic mirrored website:

Arrow '77 RX-3 SP still available

1977 RX-3 SP for sale. 90% stock nicely preserved example, 133k original miles, 2 dr., original Mazda yellow, 5 spd., 12A, dual outlet header, custom exhaust, Borla muffler, no smog equip., Koni shocks front and rear, Enkei wheels, dealer add on A/C (very rare, currently disconnected), current reg. (through 9/2002), very clean inside and out.

I also have original dealer window sticker, owners manuals, service records from original owner, and many extra parts including the stock exhaust system, stereo, and extra misc. parts.

Car could use a little work on left hand side fender and rear where previous body work was done, but is otherwise straight. Seats also a bit worn - currently there is a 1st gen. RX-7 drivers seat installed but original comes with the car. Also needs new heater hoses but these are still available through Mazda I believe. Newer stereo installed, but no speakers.

Located in Sacramento, CA. Detailed photos available upon request, feel free to email.

$3250.
