jw will the rx8 be considered a 4th gen! or like something totally different?

mazda has said many times that it is not a replacment.

Interesting thing though is that the vin's on the 8's have them as FE's. So if the next 7 comes out will it be an FF. I could be a platform thing though too.

The RX-8 is just an addition to the rotary collection for mazda. I wouldn't consider it a 4th gen.
