Nice car. Well, if your not going to do alot of drag racing with slicks then you can get by with the stock rearend. If you are going to use slicks then expect some broken rearend parts soon. I broke two axles in my rx2 with street slicks and a bridgeport all motor car. I got tired of trying to find axles so I bought a ford 9". Since you have leaf springs suspension it's easier to put a new rearend in. YOu can pretty much put anything in there. I don't know what you have available in Germany but alot of guys are running the ford 8.8, 9" or chevy 12bolt.

The rear end will hold up if you drive like an old lady. Anything over 225-250 to the wheels is going to be trouble. Putting big power to the stock rear end would probably disentegrate it.

I am running 350 to the rear wheels of my RX 2, and am using a 8.8 ford rear end, 31 spline big bearing, big axles. The guys in Australia use the Hilux rear end out of the toyota trucks. I believe they are 30 spline, and are supposed to be pretty stout. And, as ultimate jay said, there is always the faithful 9 inch.
