Well if this is the car you gonna model your car after then you have the wrong flares. you'll need these type of flares (last two pictures) the front air dam on the other hand is almost impossible to get.. your better of going with the green rx3 I posted above....where did yo get your flares from? I remember last year there was a guy here in Socal selling those same flares on ebay. he get one or two set every now and then...

So I prefer an established shop built motor...

Used is fine!

Pineapple racing stamps thier engines.... so I can find out exactly what I'm getting.

I'm sure your motors are great for you...
in the old school business, it don't matter what engine you got in there, what really pays is the overall body of the car. if its all riced out no 1 gonna buy it. The closest to stock the better.

No one is being ignorant here.

Im just trying to inform the guy, if he wants to go ahead and spend all the money in the world on having some "establish" shop build him an engine then go for it. When he goes to sell it, if the car is in a un-favorable condition he will not make his money back on the engine. Iv seen to many ppl spend 12k on a fully built engine, to go sell the car for barely 10.

Go for a 20b Carb setup!! lol that is what i want to do.

really guys, I have sold alot of Rx3-SP's.... not once did I loose money...

lot of shops do great paint & bodywork... only a few shops have the required experience to build long lasting high HP rotory motors...
I have buddies who have been rebuilding motors... seems like they are always having problems... NOT trying to dis anyone... just saying...

I am only trading the R100 for a motor with lots of power and do stand to sell it(SP) for more $$ then something built by somebody who has built 4 motors total....

I not desperate to sell the SP... just HOPING to get a nice motor with lots of reliable power, then when I go to sell it, I will make it bone stock, heck, may even keep the motor for a Karma Ghia Conv. I have my eyes on....

now that would be fun!

anyone have a motor mount laying around for my R100 12a/ 5 speed... I'm custom making it, but would like to buy one that puts the 5-speed into the correct position...

Anyway, again, I like the flares...

I almost traded the R100 for a Turbo 13b/trans combo out of a Race/Show car... but I don't know turbos at all, and needed it to be a complete package...

I thought a 400hp motor would include all the needed stuff, but that stuff adds up quickly... Turbo and controller, exhaust would all be on me....or extra...

guessing I am N/A bound !!!

if I do get a 400 hp motor I will be looking for a stronger rear-end too!

If anybody has any deep dish wheels for this project????

When was last time you sold a SP?? Im pretty damn sure that in the last 1.5 yrs NO one has gotten what they wanted out of their Rx3s, with 1 exception..

Also if your smart, you would keep that R100. Don't bother trading it for anything, even if its way in your favor.

The point is he's done it before, again and again, and wants to do something new. It is ignorant to act like he's unaware of what he's doing. You're ignoring the fact that he's already restored several and just wants to screw around with one.

I can understand that, And most of the pics of "his" cars look like they were never restored. They look original. I was just trying to inform him on what he was doing to his investment. But for some people i guess it don't matter.

"The point is he's done it before, again and again, and wants to do something new."

My come back to this is always funny; So if you done banging bunch of chicks, you gonna move to a dude to try something new?? NO lmao

Either way as long as it makes him happy he can do what he wants, im cool with that. Better than being at a junkyard.
