RX3-73 twinturbo

Yesterday Johnny and I went to a dragstrip with our RX3. Best run 11.71 s;129,7 mph (208,7 km/h) . The setup is a ported RX4-engine with 8,45:1 rotors, Hurley 3 mm apex, 2 x Volvo T16 turbo and Prospark engine management. We are using a RX4 gearbox and rear axel.

It´s a large streetport. We have taken away as much as possible. The exhaust port is huge. Did´nt really think it should work this well. We are using a Racing Beat Holley intake with a 4-port throttleplate.

We do have slicks but they are not very good. It´s used radical slicks that we found thrown away on a racetrack. We will buy a pair of dragslicks soon and try again. As it is now it is spinning a lot first and second gear. 2 years ago we got 11,48 s with MT Sportsman E and blown IC hose 50 m to go.

Good mph but car weighs only 2340 lbs w/driver. Best 60ft wasn,t it 2.06s Danne? According to the Moroso Speed calc the car can go an optimum ET of 10.28s! But me and Micke will give you a match when we are finished with the RX-4 74 with 13B PP motor. Only 316 hp but also only 1720 lbs weight "lol" First in the 10s buys beer "blink"
