Matt,
Here's my long list, with the obvious of front and rear windshields (like everyone doesn't want one of those)

Windshield Washer Reservoir with pump
Wiper Cowl Covers (the two black panels under the hood)
Body Drain Plugs
Pull ***** for dash HVAC controls
Rear duct panel (4 vent ports) under back glass
Speedo Cable
Fuel filter and sender covers in trunk

I know of a few that you don't have, but hoping that someone might.

By the way, does anyone have the rear body garnish for a 74?

Windshield washer reservoir is cracked but i will test the pump to see if it still works. those body plugs i have for you. what do you mean by HVAC?
do you mean the main heater controls?

By rear duct panel do you mean the interior one? with the two corner pieces next to it?

I might have a speedo cable

as for the fuel filter and sender covers, i think i have one of them. I will look into it for you. lates matt22

Today I pulled the windshield from that '73 coupe in the pick-n-pull out here. Are these not avilable any more? Any ideas on what a nice one is worth? I could've sworn that the windshield guy I talked to just recently said he could still get them for RX-2s, it was the seal that was the difficult part to find. Maybe he didn't know what he was talking about.

Anyways, I will probably go back and get the rear glass.. but man what a pain that is. I'll probably hang onto them in case something happens to mine, unless I get an offer I can't refuse.

Sorry Matt, didn't mean to hijack or anything.. I'm looking for a nice front bumper, but I think you already know that. Heh. Oh and Crit if Matt doesn't have any of that stuff on your list, the car out here still has most of it. I could grab it for ya if you wanna work something out, no idea what they would charge for it all though.

Mike

Well, because the glass is laid in the frame, all you need is are the little plastic spacers (profile is in the FSM if you need to make some) and a reel of windshield tar. Between the big gap and the chrome trim that overlays the glass by 1/4 inch, you don't need any seal at all. But yes, good glass is very hard to come by. My local glass guy put 7 cracks in mine trying to get it out because it had started to delaminate around the edges.

As far as parts go, Matt, yeah I was talking about the little ***** on the heater controls (someone had pulled all mine off) and the rear defroster panel is the one with the 8-inch pieces screwed into either side. I've seen them on ebay 3 or 4 times, but never remembered to follow up on them. I have a good reservoir and the rubber gasket will probably hold water, but my pump is cracked in half and is a unique design. If you can get yours apart safely, it would be a huge help. BTW, Matt, do you have the black wiper motor covers?

There's one last thing I forgot, that I don't think anyone has as a spare. If anyone has the aluminum trim that goes under the leading edge of the hood, I need that, too.

I'll be in there every week taking pictures, and yes, that's the panel I'm talking about. Mine's cracked above and below both taillights, and almost cracked through the middle. I was gonna just go without one for a while, but if you have one in good shape, please let me know.

As far as the work goes, I have two rust holes in the floors, no more than 2 inches square. I'm getting that and the rear glass rust fixed, and having one fender lip worked a little from an old accident (I suppose).

I'm then having my trunk spoiler molded in and having the front airdam painted black and riveted to the body. My 71 hood is getting worked and painted yellow, and my 74 hood is getting painted black with a hole cut in it for the Weber to breathe through. The black Weber hood is then gonna be stenciled with Vinyl that says

80
CID

With the '80' in white and the CID much smaller in red. This will be at a 45-deg angle facing toward the front driver's corner (kinda a throwback to the old NASCAR callouts on the 60s cars). Once the yellow base is down, the door window frames will be painted black, as well as the lower rocker panels, the grill inlay, and, yes, BUMBLEBEE STRIPES!!!

Center stripe is 2", and the ones on each end are 3/4 and they wrap around the *** of the car. I've got pictures of it all laid out that I'll put up tonight.

I'm just so damn excited. I've got to paint the engine and polish up the aluminum trim while the car's gone, but I've got a wedding coming up so I can't put too much money into it right now.

Plans are to lay in new fuel and brake lines, drop the drivetrain back in with the newly-painted block, lay the old wiring harness in (even with all the extra wires), get a headlineer and carpet in there, and get it together for the wedding.

I'll rebuild the suspension and replace windshield and window moldings from Scott's after the wedding, as well as fabricate a new harness with an independent engine harness on a plug so I can easly transition to EFI-T later.

Very cool. I can dye the rear panel - I'll never find one that isn't faded. The covers I can sandblast if they're not horribly bad. Shoot me a PM when you get through it all and we'll work it out. Thanks.
