Rx2 fuel pump/tank question

Has anyone here ever used an in tank style fuel pump on a stock fuel tank? I want to use a walbro style in tank fuel pump on my stock Rx2 gas tank.

Why? It's easier to use a external pump?

Easier, yes. But I have a Walbro 400 sitting here that is brand new. Someone posted a picture of a 1st gen tank with an FC fuel pump hanger and sump. I'm going to try something like that.

Talk to Sean (82transam) or Austin (Lindalish) both have turbo swapped fb's with their first gen tank modded to run a fc in tank fuel pump.
