Question RX2 Coolant routing to the heater core

What is the coolant path to the heater core of the RX2? I have a '72 RX2 that has the heater core bypassed and can't figure out how to hook it back up.

The coolant path goes from the rear cast irion and goes thru the fire wall to the heater core fitting under dash and back to the radiator allong the right side frame rail just like the rx-7s.

Thank you Dan. I hope it wasn't bypassed because of a leak. It'll be the first time the things been on the road since the mid '90's. I'll fill you in next week.

I'll know for sure tonight if I need the heater core. I installed the engine last night. Tonight I'll add fluids and see how it goes. Due to minor changes between '72- RX2 and '85- RX7 (oil pan and exhaust manifold length...) the engine went in and out a few times before I got it right.

Okay, I got the heater core all hooked up per the the info provided by Dan Atkins above and so far no leaks. Ran the car for a few minutes last night and determined that the carb needs rebuilt. I purchased a rebuild kit at Shucks for $30.00 tax included. Amazingly they had one in stock. Tonight is carb rebuild time. To be continued...
