So Ive been looking at getting myself a RX2/3 project going. Looking to build a street/mostly strip car. Im in the process of selling my 500hp talon because Im getting bored with it (well not bored just tired of waiting on money are parts to finish it) and wanted to come back to the darkside and go with another rotary. I guess the routes Im looking at are either 13b bridgeport with some spray or maybe a 13B Turbo swap. Thoughts?

 

go with a bridgeport with N2o. it will be a much simpiler project as well as keep costs down. i also think it would be more reliable than a turbo setup. but hell, what do i know? this comes from a guy who lost 2 engines in 1 season. bastards!!!

 

Yeah it all comes down to how fast you want to go and how much you want to spend along the way. But if you're tired of waiting on parts to finish your Talon, I don't know if and old rotary is the best way to go, parts are much harder to find and unless you live in Australia they'll take awhile to get to you. I'm not trying to discourage you or anything, just be aware. With a bridgeport and nitrous in an RX-3 you could probably hit 10's depending on how prepared your car was, with a 13BT it could be 8's.

 

Yeah the talon has just become a money pit and I just seem to keep buying parts and nothing ever seems to get done. I really like the idea of the Bridgeport and N20. Its simple and cost effective
