I Talked to Dave at KDR this morning. New RX-8s will be delivered in Spring of 2002. He is working with Mazda to get a pre-prodution one. He wants to take the new Renesis motor out and tear it down and see if a turbo will work, if not a supercharger.

My bro wants to get one of the very first RX-8s too. Maybe I can con him out of his Renesis engine and help him install a 13B with propane so he'll be able to get past emissions. I would love to mess around with a renesis!

 

I'm not sure about everything. I do know that the renesis is side ported. it puts out somewhere around 250 hp n/a!
