RX-3 Project begins

Ok, I have my new RX-3 sitting in the driveway and now I am pondering my options. The engine in the RX-3 is bad. I have a 1979 RX-7 that has a good engine but it needs some other stuff before it will be ready for the road. My question is if I can just swap the engine from the RX-7 into the RX-3 w/o a whole lot of hassle. Will it bolt up to the tranny and engine mounts w/o modification?

It will bolt on, however you have to get the oil pan and pick up tube from the old engine into the '79 one.

I have seen it done before. Jim at xtremeperformance.org did the same to his rx-3.
