RX-2 Parts car to be delivered to Atlanta
If anyone in the SE is looking for some RX-2 parts, let me know. I know a fella in NC with a semi-rusted parts car (complete) who's looking to sell it and is travelling to Atlanta over the weekend. If he can find someone to buy the car, he'll deliver it this weekend. I don't need, nor can I store, another car but I'd like to get with another interested party if someone here wants to go in with me, take what's needed, and sell it to a scrap yard.

Yeah I'd much rather see it made into a driver.
I agree choopa, I think I passed on the cluster at the time 'cause they wanted $50-75 for it or something outlandish like that. I've see them on eBay once in awhile for much less. I actually have 2 spares but keep wearing out the odometers.

Well, I don't need a second RX-2, and don't want one. This one has a good bit of rust in it, it looks like, and I need parts, frankly. I'll check again with the guy and let him know about the guys who have PM'd me. If one of them can make it work this weekend, great. Otherwise I might have a parts RX-2.
I've also been getting a couple PM's from people wanting to buy the car. It's not mine to sell, but I will forward y'all's phone number to him if you PM it to me. The car is not mine to sell, I was just hoping that someone else would like to split it with me for parts. PM with a phone number if y'all want the car. He's asking $1k for it, and it's complete.

The fella's name is Carl, and he's coming to Atlanta on Saturday. I'll PM his phone number to all who have PM'd me. He's got a dually truck and trailer and would like to just bring the car with him this weekend. I'm gonna step out of being in the middle, so y'all check your PMs. As much as I'd like to pull the body apart for parts, it would be great if it ended up on the road.

I know he was asking $1500. I don't know the seller directly - just a buddy who knows him. I also don't know if the car's been sold, but you're free to call if seriously interested. Mention that I sent you, if you would.

Sorry for the DP. I made a new post earlier, but this is the one that had all the traffic earlier. Just so y'all know, there's now a nice survivor 4-door for sale in Atlanta. This is the car that was at the Mitty, for those that came out. I don't know the guy, but he's driven the car a good bit lately, so it looks to be a pretty nice deal.
